What to know
TAG Heuer’s Carrera Chronograph Sport returns the collection to an unmistakably racing-minded formula: a compact steel case, dark timing bezel and a dial designed to separate elapsed time from everyday timekeeping at a glance. In reference CDB2110.BA0054, a black opaline dial and matching black ceramic bezel create a crisp, technical backdrop.
Three azuré-finished counters bring texture to the dial, while their red-lacquered chronograph hands create a useful visual hierarchy. The black flange adds contrasting white and red markers, echoing the watch’s motorsport roots. Silver-toned numerals and hands with Super-LumiNova keep the design legible after dark without interrupting its monochrome character.

The fine-brushed and polished steel case measures 42mm across and 14.2mm thick, with 22mm between its lugs and a water-resistance rating of 100 metres. A steel bracelet with H-shaped links and an easy-adjust mechanism emphasizes its everyday practicality. The fixed bezel is made of scratch-resistant black ceramic.

Inside, the in-house automatic calibre TH20-00 evolves the earlier Heuer 02 architecture. It uses a column wheel, vertical clutch and bidirectional winding, runs at 4Hz and provides an 80-hour power reserve. The movement's decorated bridges and rotor are visible through the sapphire exhibition caseback.

At €6,550 on TAG Heuer’s Belgian website, this model sits squarely in the premium mechanical sports-chronograph category. Its appeal is less about novelty for its own sake than deliberate refinement: traditional three-register timing, updated Carrera proportions and a restrained black-and-red palette that still feels connected to the track.
