Purple enters IWC’s Pilot’s collection.

IWC’s new IW388121 gives its Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS team chronograph a deep purple dial and matching rubber strap. The brand links the colour to Singapore’s Vanda Miss Joaquim orchid, while green numerals and luminous accents maintain the team’s established visual identity. The announcement dates to August, ahead of the Singapore Grand Prix.

The case measures 41 mm and is made from Grade 5 titanium. Inside, the automatic 69385 calibre uses a column-wheel chronograph and offers a stated 46-hour reserve. A day-date display sits at three o’clock, and the movement is visible through the sapphire back. The strap uses IWC’s quick-change attachment system.
