What to know

Urwerk has introduced the UR-300 Time Quantum with a new arrangement of its wandering-hour display. Two perpendicular modules form a T-shaped structure carrying four three-sided hour prisms. At the end of each hour, the structure jumps forward and reorganises, placing the next hour at the beginning of the minutes scale.

The launch includes titanium and dark AlTiN-treated versions. Urwerk lists the case at 45.2 by 58.8mm, with a thickness of 18.25mm and 30-metre water resistance. The automatic UR-30.01 movement uses the brand’s Dual Flow Turbines winding regulation. Urwerk specifies a 43-hour power reserve.
