What to know

Sinn’s 103 pilot’s chronograph is traditionally a dense, functional instrument. For Lufthansa’s centenary, the German watchmaker has streamlined that familiar layout, substituting a restrained charcoal-and-grey dial with targeted yellow accents inspired by the airline’s identity.

The colour is applied to the central chronograph hand and elapsed-time counters, while the 12-hour rotating bezel and clear rectangular hour markers support at-a-glance reading. A small oval detail in the chronograph hand recalls an aircraft window. The 41mm stainless steel case keeps screw-down controls and a water-resistance rating of 200 metres.

The automatic Sellita SW500 operates at 4Hz with a stated 48-hour power reserve. A commemorative rotor is visible through the display back, and production is limited to 100 watches. This is a design collaboration in which the airline influence improves visual hierarchy instead of simply adding a logo to an existing dial.
