What to know
OMEGA refreshed its Speedmaster 38 collection on 25 August 2026 with seven new references, but the black-dial model is arguably the clearest expression of the redesign. Reference 324.30.38.50.01.002 removes the date display altogether, creating a more balanced, Moonwatch-like chronograph face.
The 38mm steel watch introduces rounded subdials in place of the previous generation’s oval counters. White luminous hands, a matte black dial, a broader tachymeter bezel with the familiar dot over ninety and a Moonwatch-style five-link bracelet sharpen its classic sports-watch identity.

The automatic Co-Axial calibre 3332 is exclusive to this no-date version within the refreshed range and delivers a stated 52-hour power reserve. The chronometer-certified chronograph offers 100 metres of water resistance, while the steel case measures 14.75mm thick.
OMEGA also introduced white, silver, bicolour and diamond-set Speedmaster 38 variants in the same 2026 update. This restrained black reference stands out for bringing the smallest contemporary Speedmaster chronograph closer to the collection's racing and spaceflight design codes.
