What to know
Fifteen years after the first Legacy Machine 1, MB&F has reworked the design for its more wearable EVO family. The familiar suspended balance and two independently adjustable time displays remain, but the new 42mm case adds the brand’s FlexRing shock-protection system, screw-down crowns, 80 metres of water resistance and interchangeable rubber straps.
Its manually wound movement now offers 60 hours of power reserve, shown on a redesigned inclined indicator, and uses a Straumann double hairspring. Buyers can choose Grade 5 titanium with a rhodium-toned dial plate or 5N+ rose gold with green; the gold version is limited to 33 pieces. MB&F lists both editions as available now.
